Shockwave's offsite laboratory was his secondary lab located in an underground cavern on Earth. The purpose of this lab was to create Predacon clones for Megatron. Megatron originally intended on using this army to destroy humanity, but later allowed Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus to destroy the lab. Later, Shockwave discovered that the destruction of his offsite laboratory resulted in the creation of Cybermatter which he showed Megatron and Starscream.
