Maine is a territory in the United States of America. It's a New England state. The island of Griffin Rock is located off its coast.

The entire Rescue Bots cartoon takes place on an island off the coast of Maine. This renders their constant references to "the mainland" only mildly amusing. The Rescue Bot Training Center is said to be on the mainland, so it is probably in Maine.
