Ian James Corlett (sometimes credited as Ian Corlett, born August 29, 1962) is a Canadian voice actor. Some of his better-known roles include Coconuts and Robotnik Jr. from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Bob from Reboot seasons 3 and 4, Mega Man from the Ruby-Spears Mega Man series, Gnawgahyde from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Skales and Master Chen from Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Bill the Duck from Sitting Ducks and Firebrand from Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
Although he reportedly hates dubbing anime, Corlett is well known as the first English language voice of Son Goku/Kakarot in the Ocean group dub of Dragon Ball Z. Some of his other dub roles include Dr. Tofu in Ranma 1/2 Smooth Talker in Tenjho Tenge, and Miroku in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, succeeding the late Kirby Morrow. Corlett is also a credited animation writer, having written scripts for Donkey Kong Country, the English localization of Dragon Ball Z and is the creator of the series Being Ian & Yvon of the Yukon.
He was in the video game, Destiny 2 as the voice of Fynch. He was also in the animated R-rated movie, Sausage Party as a few characters.
He is the father of voice actors Claire Corlett & Philip Corlett.
