Additional Pic

Man, this group shot should really be used somewhere.

Meetthedecepticlones

Also, artillery and turret unit pics - but no pages yet. And now another group shot.

Decepticlone artillery
Decepticlone turrent
ThreeClones

Also also, Jhiaxus sent me an Australian minicomic which was a prequel to the game itself. Seems to have been distributed by game/toy shops and the like - written by Furman, art by Sullivan, inks by Baskerville and colors by Wildman. It makes use of the spider tanks and some really undersized Heavy Units... I'll scan it up when I can. --Monzo 12:24, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Older Stuff

Here's the picture of a Decepticlone (shoot, I've been spelling Decepticon wrong all tonight, Haven't I?) from the Attacktix line. Finally the chance everyone has been waiitng for to own a Decepticlone in toy form. Or Not.

Someone may want to upload that picture in some form or other.

  • That picture may not be entirely appropriate, because of the huge exaggerated arm. Can we get some screencaps from the game? --Suki Brits 04:45, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
  • I'll see what Google turns up, but it shouldn't be a problem. Incidentally, anyone know why the pic that IS there isn't thumbnailed right? I got all the words right.

Do you have any confirmation regarding the actual origin of the Decepticlones, or is it just baseless assumption? Since there didn't seem to be any problem with ripping the boss Decepticons apart.

I'm pretty sure that they just needed generic enemies, since dozens-upon-dozens of Megatron's coming at you in every level would be pretty stupid.

That's pretty much what I meant, I think it was a combination of needing a common killable mea-no wait, Metal Bag. I read it in various previews in magazines at the time approaching the games release. I admit I was slightly confused when I played the game and found the Bosses apparently dying too, when I had read that they hadn't been allowed to kill the named Transformers in that article. I assumed it meant Freely kill. Mind you, it does kinda ruin the flow the series, since Cyclonus and Tidelwave were both in the next series. <shurgs> Cool game though, but way too short.

Do these guys actually appear in the game? The only pic I have of them is some early preview stuff. -Derik 08:35, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

Nope! No bikey in the game. Not even listed in the development art. - User: M Sipher

Ah cool. (It's in the assembly of clones you have as the main image though, you'll notice.) Leave the image in place, when/if the game page takes proper shape I'll add a note for it as a canceled unit ont he bottom, alongside the gray light clones and green snipers. (I think proto colors are merely a prudent thing to keep track of in a fandom that recolors this often.) -Derik 08:56, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

Going through the various stuff I could find in terms of promos etc (I dont' actually own the game, surprise!) I ran across these two odd ducks: http://makeashorterlink.com/?T18025CDC The top appears to be a black Gurilla. I suppsoe it coudl be lighting. The bottom is different unit based on the Medium Unit, this one is red, has a shield arm, and hops around like a goddamn ninja when you hit it. Were either of THESE int he final game? -Derik 13:04, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

I have temporarily linked the Turrent and Artillery links to their images, since Siph is probably going to make entries for these two bitch-to-snap-pics-of units later.

Speaking of- GOD DAMN that Artillery unit pic sucked two make. It's four different 'chunks' pasted together to make one decent picture. In terms of categorization, Prima's Strategy guide describes an Artillery Unit as a piece of equipment used by Decepticlones, and it describes Sentry Drones as Decepticlones. Mildly interesting. -Derik 13:55, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

A categroy for Decepticlones seems a little redundant when you have this entry that has a list with links to all of them. Also, this entry should be Decepticlones, plural. (Just my opinion.) -Derik 14:42, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
