Adam Baldwin (born February 27, 1962) is an American actor best known for playing Jayne Cobb in the television series Firefly (also starring Gina Torres and Alan Tudyk); and its follow-up film, Serenity. He has appeared in films such as Full Metal Jacket, Predator 2, Independence Day, and The Patriot, as well as TV shows including The X-Files, NCIS, Angel, Chuck and multiple 'CSI series.
Equally prolific as a voice actor, he has voiced several DC Comics characters such as Superman in Superman: Doomsday, Hal Jordan in Injustice: Gods Among Us, Jonah Hex in Justice League Unlimited, Metamorpho in Beware the Batman, and Parasite in Young Justice.
He's not related to Alec Baldwin or the other Baldwin brothers.
